Communications & Marketing Assistant

POSITION TITLE: Communications & Marketing Assistant
ELIGIBILITY: Full-time Domestic and Full-time International. All students must be and must complete the .

The Communications & Marketing Assistant is responsible for research, writing and editing of communications and marketing materials.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist with the implementation of communications strategies. 
  2. Develop engaging and informational marketing and communications content. 
  3. Write, copy edit, proofread and format content to support a variety of marketing initiatives. 
  4. Assist with creating newsletters, promotional materials or online content in accordance with marketing standards. 
  5. Conduct fact checking and market research to support information gathering and content creation. 
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional and inter-departmental teams to support communication initiatives.
  7. Organize, shoot and edit promotional videos and multimedia productions. 
  8. Provide monthly reporting on communications activities and related information. 
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  1. Ability to creatively write content to engage an intended audience. 
  2. Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively. 
  3. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. 
  4. Ability to use research methods to identify and verify information. 
  5. Ability to use social & digital media to effectively communicate or respond to others. 
  6. Ability to use editing software and a variety of computer applications. 
  7. Ability to set up and operate video, photography and other production equipment.
